This interactive workshop is designed for students taking the university’s English language course and will be conducted in English. It focuses on selected criminal cases and their social impact, using real examples to develop Legal English vocabulary and improve speaking, discussion and critical-thinking skills.

During the workshop, participants will analyse key facts of selected criminal cases, discuss their legal and social consequences, and compare their views in pairs or small groups. The session will also include a thematic quiz to check understanding and reinforce key vocabulary, followed by a guided discussion based on issues explored during university English classes.

By taking part, students will expand their legal vocabulary in context, practise discussing criminal cases in English, and strengthen their ability to analyse case details and present conclusions clearly and accurately.

Participants should be ready to take an active part in discussion and group tasks in English.
