The aim of this training session is to help Polish secondary‑school learners of English (B1/B2 level) prepare for the basic version of the Matura examination by giving them authentic opportunities to practice their text‑mediation skills in a task-based and voice‑assisted language‑learning environment. To achieve this, Amazon Alexa is used to facilitate human‑machine communication, which allows participants to practice question generation and reformulation strategies in the context of mediation task performance.
