English has become the most popular language in the world in the field of business, commerce, education, science, art and many others.

How many words of English origin have flooded other languages? Is it at all possible to count them? I would bet almost everybody in Europe knows at least one English word, yet the English language is probably one of the few modern languages that is characterized by so many different accents and variations that some of them can hardly be called English (!?). I am going to concentrate on British English versus American English, two variations which are presumably the most common accents you can encounter on social media, in films or songs. I will be talking about the differences on grammatical and  lexical level and will illustrate the differences in pronunciation.
